We had long flights from Africa to NZ with a 14 hour layover. This option fit the bill perfectly as we booked a 12 hr time slot for use of the room to sleep and shower. Our room (#38) was spotless with a comfy bed, nice shower, TV, WiFi, kettle for tea/coffee and extremely quiet. Room fee also included a tasty meal. The staff was great. Nice community lobby, dining, small gym and pool available for guests use. You cannot beat the location as it is situated within the airport so no need to haul your checked luggage or go through immigration/customs as the location is Airside within the International terminal. We checked out refreshed and ready for our next leg of travel. Would definitely book again!

We prefer it over the Ambassador Transit Hotel as the design of the hotel and physical rooms is WAY better. The bathrooms are beautiful and the bedrooms don’t feel like you are sleeping in a windowless box like at the A.T.
